Behold… for seafood lovers, the seafood at Hi Joyful at Chinatown is very fresh!
Starting with the appetizer and they are served in small plates similar in Korean restaurant Appetizers here were served in small plates and were very similar to the starters that you would get in a Korean restaurant.
For the main course there are 4 types of base to choose from which are Mala, Steam, Sour spicy or fresh spicy and quirky drinks.
The huge spot consist of many combinations of seafood item like, Lobsters, Crab, Tiger prawn, Bamboo Clam, Oyster, Scallop, Vietnamese clam, Green Mussel and underneath the soup base are sliced potato, seaweed, quail eggs, bean curd skin, black fungus and other vegetables.
This scallop is extremely fragrance with garlic, small chilli, vermicelli and sprinkled with spring onions this is one of the highlight of this big pot of seafood
You will want to gather as many people to try them because it can be quite overwhelming and can share the cost.
There is also a karaoke on the third floor but you need to book in advance and have a minium of 6person for the booking. Groups or Corporate can made advance booking to feast on seafood and have a drink here at Hi! Joyful.
